PT Bina Media Tenggara, the publisher of The Jakarta Post, Indonesia’s leading English-language daily, has internship opportunities for college students, young professionals or new graduates. Internships are open to all nationalities and to people from all educational backgrounds.

The internship program will begin September 1 and end November 29, 2009. The program, part of The Jakarta Post’s Corporate Social Responsibility drive, is designed to give young adults exposure to the workings of a media outlet and to provide the Post with a pool of potential talent. 

For this year’s third quarter intake, we will take on several intern reporters to be placed in The Jakarta Post newsroom.

Qualifications for Intern Reporters

-         University student or university graduate

-         Proficiency in English, with a minimum TOEFL score of 550

-         Computer skills

-         Able to submit a writing example ( 200-300 words) in English

-         No more than 27 years old
